Power Moves

I am still RV'ing out in Morgan Hill, CA. All the raining is cramping my style. No cycling, no hiking, no scooting. So indoors I am, rainy day in, rainy day out. Lots of time to digitize and restore slides, about 150 so far, and approximately 900 to go.
While working on digitizing family slides, decided that my family needs a complete family tree. I was lucky, someone in Venezuela published a book with family histories for people from the area where my mother was born. And my cousin Leo in Holland send me a large document containing family data for all relatives of my dad's side of the family. The Fernandez's here in the USA don't know our relatives from my father's side. Actually, we don't know the ones from my mother's side either. So a complete "family tree" will provide who is who. Still collecting data and working on how to present the data for publishing on my website.
In between rain showers went scooting (27 mi) to visit Vickie Chegwidden and baby Alice. One day earlier this week Alice pulled her self up, turned around and started walking (14 month). This reminded me that we grown-ups should often just make "power moves". That is, do something different, an adventure, or make a change that affects us for the best. Being a full time RV'er gives me lots of opportunities to do something different. On this cool rainy nights I enjoy soaking in the spa (every night). Am still planing the next adventure for Feb in Arizona. In the mean time, have about 2 weeks to go here in Morgan Hill. But am getting an itching foot to just go, will see.
