... To Be Experienced.

French Quarter - Bourbon Street in the day time; at night it does not look like this.
Looking to downtown New Orleans just before the afternoon rain.
This is what a flat tire looks like after it is driven for a while.
Miramar Beach in the gulf side of north east Florida is spectacular.
I am at Miramar Beach Fl, about 30 miles south east of Pensacola.
I arrived in New Orleans at the French Quarter RV Resort at about 4:00 pm on Thurs. While hooking the electricity and water, what did I see? One of my rear tires was a mess. When did it blow? Don’t know, some time in the last 250 miles. Good thing the rear tires are “dual/double” tires. That is, there are four tires on one axel. Along the highways one sees lots of rubber that breaks off from truck tires. My next door neighbor at the RV resort showed me the damage his RV sustained earlier in the day, when his flat tire broke up, and a piece of tire flapping at 70 mph trashed the bottom and side of his RV. I was pretty lucky, no damage.
New Orleans, the French Quarter in the evening is to be experienced. There is no other place in the world like it, at least not in the few places of the world that I have seen.
If you like the beach, Miramar Beach Fla. is for you. Fine white sand, lots of room, warm, and the humidity at beach is not as noticeable.
On Mon, 30th Jun, I will be in Tampa Fl. Will be in Tampa for about a week.
