Lake Pleasant, Arizona. It was only 112 F = 44 C today. The RV resort here is pretty nice. But the heat is awesome.
Not Bigfoot, but a very large houseboat in Lake Pleasant. This one am told is private, but others are for rent.
The pool, across from my RV Site at Lake Pleasant.
Am now in Tucson Arizona, will be here for a few days.
I am visiting with my friend Marywayne. You may recall from “Bike Week (Motorcycles)”, April 2; that Marywayne and I worked together at Lochkeed Martin back in Calif. She has allowed me to park my RV on her property. Here, Am also planning to meet up with PJ. PJ is the son of high school buddy, Bob Gomes.
At Lake pleasant, it was busy with local workers getting the marina ready for the coming weekend, cleaning, and preparing the rental boats, sea doos, stocking up on beer, and food stuffs. It seems that thousand’s people come to the lake every weekend this time of the year. The RV resort gets fully booked by Friday’s, and lots of people bring their boats every weekend. If you are going to be hot, then doing it by the lake is best.
One of the activities the local lake workers were also working on, is preparation for the 4th Jul fireworks. Was told that every year they get around 16,000 visitors to the lake on that weekend to watch the fireworks. They have to organize where people can park, camp, where to prepare food, and locate shower trucks, porta pottys, and all the stuff to make it a fun weekend for all.
