What a ham I am !! Actually was trying to capture Elaine and me, she is barely visible behind me.

Pismo Beach is a small, ya, beach community. In the 60s it was kind of famous for college student Easter vacations. Because there is beach “camping” nearby at a state park. you can drive your RV on the beach to a dune camping area. No, am no doing that, I like RV resorts or parks. Have not done “dry” camping, that is, no electricity, water, sewer ground connections, and most important internet access. The Bigfoot is fully equipped for dry camping, I must try it soon. I figure it could handle about ten days, with good water conservation practices.

Above, is this RV resort during the week day, when I arrived. I liked it, it seemed spacious. On the right is this resort today. Last night lots of arrivals. There are now about 180 RV’ers here. Most should be gone by Sun eve I hope. I almost did’nt get a site, for the 3 weeks that I will be here, the weekends are full. The computer found the last site that was available for the 3 weeks. For near the beach RV’ing I will have to start making reservations. Such is life. Blogs should be short, so will say no more.

Off to read a paper and enjoy a hot chocolate I am.
