It Was A Hard Day ...

Is a good day when you get to spend lots of time with beautiful babes. Here are the Bassford girls (Sandra’s family) and .. . I got to have a great time with Sandra’s family here in Eugene. Sandra came up from the Bay area to visit (at left).
I have been slow updating my blog. Why ? Maybe have been to busy ? Naaaah.
When in Seattle I hanged out in the Olympic National Park for about a week. It is a great park, but I have been spoiled having spent time in the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, and Grand Canyon.
Lots of good hikes and good cycling. I left Olympic NP and went back to Seattle, there I met up with “old” cycling (and previously co-worker) buddy Don Kinell and Louise from the Bay area, who where there visiting family who also live in Lake Stevens, WA, where my nephew Jerel and his family live.
It was good to catch-up with Jack, and Jennifer, and Louise, Don, Jack, and Jen after a dinner at the right.
Here in Eugene, Sandra invited me to an Oregon Duck football game, and tailgate party with family and friends. My first tailgate party, and football game since 1971. This day started early and went on and on.
Jennifer and Louise in Jen’s backyard (Seattle).
The “Duck’s beat the New Mexico Lobos 72 - 0, ouch. Tailgate party, football game, dinner, and a lounge for drinks with Sandra’s family. It was a hard day but someone had to do it, fun, fun, fun.
Florence, OR, a very small town about 60 mi west of Eugene, and on the OR coast. Great place to hangout, RV parks are inexpensive like they were in CA three yrs ago. In Florence, went to an old car show, and dinner. If you want a great seafood dinner a coastal community will not get better than that.
Very near Florence, OR, visited Honeyman State Park, wow what a great park. Sandra, this park is awesome, and you camped here how many times growing up? One eve went to Dune City, a very small community also very near Florence, and found this RV Park with a lounge and live 3 person band; had a great time dancing with the locals, 4 guys and 10 young ladies. 2 guys and 3 ladies were from Germany and RV’in there. And a great time was had by all.
