Cooler Days Are Coming

Pool Time in the mornings, and pool time in the evenings. Can it get better than that ? Me think not !
At 9:00 am the temp was around 94 deg; in the evening around 7:00 pm the temp was around 108 deg.
As you can see, am still hanging out in Arizona. But I have been bad, no blog for a month. What is up with that. Like I said I have been bad. I did a thing that the Rouel of old days use to do almost daily, total single minded tenacious immersion like in work stuff. No am no working, remember retirement means no work. I was compelled to undertake upgrading my genealogy software. That is, adding new features, and improving some of the screens. Hopefully am done with that for a few months.
So what is on the agenda next. First, lets review this last year. It has been exactly a year since I have been off my retirement plan. Meaning, not visiting National Parks, and just about not going out doing the fun stuff of exploring by hiking new places, and biking on new roads. As you know, the economy has been lousy, gas prices have been nasty high, rentals in RV parks have also been going up, very silly. So I took this year to stay put and pay off some bills. In this year I did get to spend time with my west coast relatives. A good thing indeed.
OK so what is next? Will probably hangout here in Surprise, Arizona till the end of Nov. Soon the weather here is going to get nice, that means cooler than high 90s. Then I can go out on exploration hikes and bike rides. Have been here in Surprise, AZ many times, but have not gone hiking yet, will do it this season. Will probably fly home to Mountain View, CA for a few days in early Nov for Cindy’s B-day celebration. Then in Dec will drive the RV back to Mountain View, CA, to spend the Christmas holidays with friends. And Then in Jan ..... I wont say because I will probably do something totally different.
The photo on the left above is from one of my morning exercise walks here in the village. That to me says Arizona, and the temp was 110 deg by noon.
