Merry Christmas And Happy New Year, ...

I wonder if neighborhoods or individuals throughout the country compete in decorating their homes for holidays like Halloween and Christmas. Well, RV’er’s can do it too. Have been hanging out at this RV Trailer park in San Jose Calif. They don’t call them self an RV Park, because most staying there are very long term residents. They stay for years or permanently. Hence a trailer park, and some get into decorating their RV’s and yard’s.
I thank bike buddies Don and Louise for hosting the bike buddies Christmas party and potluck dinner. It was great, there was Don and Louise, Sandra and Robert, Vickie and Scott and the kids: Alice and Joseph; Thomas, Elaine, Chris and Randy, and Cindy and me. We had a great dinner and gift exchange, actually technically not an exchange. We each bring a gift, then thru some method determine the order that we select and open a gift from under the tree, when it is someone’s turn to pick a gift, they get to pick an unknown gift from under the tree or take one that someone has already chosen and opened. Then the person who lost a gift gets to choose a new one or take one from someone else. There are rules, but to keep it short, we always have a great time with this tradition.
These are a few of the bike buddies. Most of us go back now 20 years that we have been biking throughout the world and hiking together. We have biked in California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado Rockies, British Columbia, France, Czech Republic, some of us have biked in New Zealand, some have hiked Machu Picchu, and some of us have hiked and camped down into the Great Canyon. Jenna was sick so was not able to attend our Christmas party this year, she has hiked in China, Tibet, and Kilimanjaro.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all, wish all your life’s be filled with great adventures. Make it happen !!
