A view of the RV Park, in Morgan Hill where am hanging out. Been here before, is great for cycling and hiking. Yep, it is time to accumulate bike miles back in this old body, got to get in shape again. Will be here till 1 Mar.

On Feb 4th, got a text message from niece, Ethel, in Sacramento, daughter of bro Jack, she graduated from the California Correctional Officer Training Academy. She got her badge.  That is really cool Ethel, congratulations. In Calif that is an excellent profession, excellent salaries and benefits. Even though our Calif is broke, but now I know where some of my state taxes are going. Wish I knew were the rest of it goes.

A couple of days ago, college buddy Jim, Jimbo to me, payed me a visit at the RV park, we went out for a couple beers. It is great to have most excellent friends, am blessed with many, many most excellent friends, they are my family. At least I think of them so. If you keep hitting the “previous” button below, you will see them and how we are connected.

Off to a great start, have done 3 bike rides from the RV Park. At least every other day, will be training to get back in shape. Yesterday was a great training ride, it was short but fast. Elaine called and wanted to ride, and was willing to drive the 40 miles to the RV Park. As we were ready to take off, I saw two cyclist coming toward us in the RV Park. It was Jim and Parv. They dropped by just in case I was in. We had a great ride.

From Left to tight, Elaine, Parv, and Jim. Jim and I went to college together, I think dinosaurs roamed the earth then, but we are not extinct, just retired. Parv is a good friend of Jim, and probably his victim for cycling. Jim seems to bike at 100% level all the time. Always kick’s my butt, and it feels great.
