... Cyclists in the Making.

Having fun with young relatives, me, niece Ethel and Claris, grand niece Alexandria, grand nephew Caesar and Lorenzo (aka Lo Lo), and a friend seated on the right. We went out to dinner to a Cuban restaurant near downtown Sacramento. Food was very good, a small ma and pa restaurant. They took our picture, so will be posted on their wall in that back.
Getting some good bike rides done, about bike rides, took my grand niece Alexandria (soon to be 21) on a small ride on her clunker bike, her first 37 miler. A few hours after we finished, lactic acid build up and extremely worn out quads causing her extreme pain. Alas, youth, a massage, some ibuprofen and recovery by next morning. Now, she wants another ride, with less pain. Who knows, cycling may get her blood as it known to do.
This is grand nephew Lorenzo, aka Lo Lo, brother of Alexandria, just turned 4 yrs old. I fixed his bike, adjusted it for his size, now he rides every chance he gets. Hm, maybe another cyclist in the making.
Brother Jack and family are back from a 3 week vacation visiting our family in the east coast: Texas, Atlanta Ga, and Ft Lauderdale Fla. Back to work today for him, no retirement for him, I think he is addicted to work. I used to be, but I found the cure.
When I first arrived here in Sacramento, one day went out on a bike ride, when I got home, entered thru the garage, I hear some squeaking, yep, doggie Bubbles, had a single puppy. Now three weeks old. Puppy on the right, puppy’s mom (Bubbles) in the center, and puppy’s dad on the right. I think my friend Sandra is right, mommy has been messing around, because puppy does not look like mom, or dad.
Today will celebrate my second birthday, got lost of Happy B-day on Facebook, cooool.
