... Minutes Later It was Gone, Such Is Life.

Friday, November 30, 2012

A couple of days ago, woke up, and it was raining, thought was going to have to spend the day in the RV, but 30 minutes later the clouds opened up, then a rainbow appeared so close that it seem I could just walk right up to it. Opened an RV window, put iPad out of the window and snapped the rainbow. 10 minutes later it was gone, such is life

Today, has been raining for hours, so far about 6 hrs. But am determined to get on the motorcycle, and go out for my hot chocolate fix and read the paper, rain or ... One hour later, am sitting at Specialty's Cafe & Bakery. Had my hot chocolate, read the paper, it is still raining, and time to finish this blog.; OK, continue and finnish this blog.

Since I have been sitting put for months and month, have done lots of reading and collected lots of websites with stuff that I was to blog on. But I will just do one or two. Here is one, in China, they can not only mass produce computers (24,000 per day, in one factory), but they can put up the worlds tallest building in 90 days. Read Here, even if it takes and extra 30 days, where are we, us the United States Of America in doing such a fantastic feat ?  For many years have thought that we should be able to put up a house using lego set like blocks in a matter days, and the owner could change the interior when ever he/she wanted by moving the blocks around. So now apparently they can do it in China, at least put up the building, like SkyCity.

Here is a second, and last one:

“Take That, Tokyo! San Francisco Approves 220-Square-Foot 'Micro-Apartments'”; Click LInk Below:

http://www.wired.com/design/2012/11/san-francisco-micro-apartments/all/

Hey, my RV is bigger than the micro-apartments, I think am at 270 sq-ft, and I can move around with it whenever I get off my duff and do it .... Other cities here in California are moving to experiment with these micro-apartments. And some say “the more things change, the more they stay the same”. Maybe it is not true anymore, if ever.

As for my friends, done lots of hikes with, but not many bike rides. And Nov birthdays came and went, we did go out and celebrated Cindy’s B-day, had most excellent cup cakes.

It has stopped raining, going back to the RV and do something !! ... Maybe hike in the Baylands.
