Winter left and Spring came, and then Winter came back. This flowers felt spring then it got cold one night and they ....

Hey kids, I see that 5 weeks have gone by since last blog. Well, lost track time, it is hard to be retired, but someone has to do it :)

I have done it again, spent mega hours doing updates to the “Your Relatives” genealogy software. But now am really done, really, am done (I hope) for a few months.

Here in Sacramento have always liked it for it is great for cycling. However, since winter came back it has not being very nice to get on the bike, rain and just plain bad weather. But have managed to do some riding and adventures walks, sort of.

On the right, in yellow, is my niece Ethel (at her left is her boyfriend). She is new to cycling, bought a reasonably bike about 2 months ago. Took me out on ride and put the hurt on me. An awesome mean biking machine she is.

You might remember, OK maybe not, last Jun I took her daughter, my grand niece, on her first bike ride and put the hurt on her.  Is not often someone puts the hurt on me on a bike ride. Just out of shape (wait, maybe she is just young) and it is the end of Mar, that is bad. Will fix that.

On a another ride, it was a lonely ride on a bike path along a canal that ends up in the “River”, the Sacramento River. Lonely because after 36 mi did not see another rider. Guess some people have to work when I get to play :)

Interesting stuff to me, here in Calif is home to the “greatest number of women-owned businesses”.

And then only in America you can become a Tycoon of something. How about a Tomato tycoon, no skip that one, didn't turn out well for someone.

Last month my old roommate, Barry, had a birthday. His daughter, Cozy, to graduate from Berkley Law School next month, emailed me with an invite to a small get together. Saw her go from a skinny little kid to an awesome married lady and now a lawyer. Would have never guessed that.
