Who is this muscled young man, none other than my grand nephew, Ceaser Manuel Garcia, grandson of bro Jacques in Sacramento. Ceaser is 18 yrs old, and was weighing-in last month for his first amateur boxing match.
Left Sacramento weeks ago, and hanged out in the mountains above home base, near where my friends leave, and in Mountain View in an RV park. The park is OK, it used to be dump, a dive. Never stayed there before because of that, but in the past two years new management has improved the park, and the neighbor has also improve. It is a great location, When I get back next month from San Diego will probably hang there till mid Aug. Oh Yea, tomorrow heading to the San Diego area to house sit for bro Johannes for 2 weeks. He and wife Rose are off to an adventure vacation on a cruise to the Mediterranean.
I broke down and bought an iPad, great device, now I will have some connectivity when I stay at the Park in the mountains above home base. The connection is weak, and breaks down often, but it works for email.
Deer come to visit every evening near the RV in the mountains. Really liked it there, but had no phone or WiFi connectivity there.
Probably mentioned in an earlier blog that Vickie in this photo on the right, wants to do a 50 mile walk, 25 mi/day, to celebrate her 50th B-day coming up in Jul. So we have been training, lots of short walks during the week, and longer walks in the weekend. Yesterday we did a 15 miler. Will have to keep up this training when in San Diego. Time to get ready for travel, more later.
