Is health care going to the dogs ? Literally yep, it appears that in households with small children and dogs, that man’s best friend keeps baby and small children healthier than households without dog’s.

As you would expect, have recovered from the 50 mile adventure walk we did last month. We had a 4th of Jul BBQ hosted by Sandra. Not many of us there, it is popular holiday for people to take off. We were Sandra, Robert, Elaine, Cindy and me.
Left the “Bay Area” for Sacramento to visit bro Jack. Jack and one of my nieces are leaving for Guatemala in a couple of days to visit with wife’s relatives. His Wife and two grand children are already there.
Sister Elsbeth also came up to Sacramento. She is bringing my niece, Cassandra, to UC Santa Cruz for a two day university orientation. They will return to Sacramento in a couple of days. It is good to hangout with relatives. That is something I didn't do in younger days. Now is better than never.
I have not been up to anything useful as of late. Still need to do repairs on the RV from the damage caused by that tire blowout back in May. Have to do repairs before the rains start. So, have design the how to rebuild the wheel well of the RV. After much thought decided to use wood instead of fiberglass, because wood is relatively easy to work with, and is easily sealed from the aggressive environment in the wheel well. And I could cover the wood with fiberglass for extra protection. Planned to do the repairs the 1st week of August, hopefully complete that repair in 3 days. Then have to also repair the house battery tray mechanism and replace the two batteries. I figure another 2 days. Hope to have all repairs done by Aug 10th; will see.
