Let’s Do Some Critical Thinking.
Sunday, August 5, 2012
Wow, in this article published in the newspaper, the republican party of Texas says: “We oppose the teaching of Higher Order Thinking Skills ....., critical thinking skills and similar programs ....”. From the junk I hear from some people I talked with when hanging out at Starbucks, I think this is working. OK, Lets get smart, lets do some Critical Thinking !!!!
More newspaper stuff, in China a factory that assembles computers and servers, “can churn about 25,000 machines in a day.” That is a wow, imagine if they apply their American learned mass production technology to create factories to make other things like knokoff’s pharmaceuticals, or ...
And that is how our American companies are shooting them self and us in the foot. All to make a big profit now, and later for this foreign factories to make the big profits. Using some critical thinking you can surmise that they can easily disrupt the economies of American companies. Of course right now because they are making money from the interest payments we have to make to them, because we (our government) barrows money from them, they want / need us to be relatively economically healthy. But for how long will they hold them self's back ? likely when their government loosen a bit more control on their eager private enterprising individuals.
Enough of Rouel politics; hopefully you have been watching some of the Olympics. One of my favorites is “The Blade” click here for more.
I Continue to just hangout, not doing much of interest. After leaving bro Jack’s place in Sacramento, did some house sitting for Vickie in Mountain View, then more house sitting for Cindy in Sunnyvale. On Wednesday will pickup Cindy at the airport. And then no more house sitting for a while I think.
This month I get my first social security check. Will then adjust my finances, do some RV and motorcycle long overdo maintenance to get ready to hit the road. I think will stay within California, been thinking of going north to Mt Lassen and Shasta Cascade region. Lately have been anxious to go out, and back to my retirement plan to explore our great country.
