... A Visit To Florida

Backyard from sis Dorothy’s home in Davie Florida. Pool’s in Fla typically have a screen enclosure, and that is to keep out mosquitos and debris. Otherwise it becomes impossible to enjoy evenings just hanging out by the pool. Yep, that is a lake from her backyard.
It has been way long since last blog. Lots of stuff has happened. Bike buddies we had a B-day celebration for Jul, and that was Sandra and Vickie. My Computer went thru a catastrophic crash, hence long time since last blog. Fortunately, I back up my hard drive periodically, do you ? last backup 2 weeks before the crash. Pictures from B-day celebration are on the backup drive, needles to say have not recovered everything. But I know the stuff is safe in the back up, I checked, just did not transfer some stuff back, otherwise the hard drive gets pretty full. I have several photo galleries each close to 100 GB. Besides more important is to recover the programs/applications.
Vickie (one of the Jul birth-dates) and Robert at July’s B-day celebration.
Of course we had dinner, and fun.
Went to Florida and hangout with sis Dorothy. No, did not drive the RV, gas is very expensive during summer. Estimated it would take about $1300 in gas just to get to Fla. Will do next year around spring time I think.
While in Florida also attended my 45 year high school reunion. South Broward High School “Bulldogs” Class of ’68 we are. And that is in Hollywood Florida.
At the reunion we had a gathering one eve at the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk, yep it is on the beach where we use to hangout in the younger years. We also did a dinner and dance. ... and yes, we are advanced in age, but not old, we can still dance !! See on the left.
Am working on a project to build more pages for my high school class website to show the photos and videos from this reunion. Took approximately 400 photos, and around 20 videos. This was done using an iPhone and an iPad. These mobiles devices are weak when used in low light conditions (iPad is much Better). So, every photo and video needs post enhancing work, and that takes time. Stay tuned, working as fast as I can and still do other Rouel fun stuff.
