... Madre de Dios, Isolated Tribe In Peru.

Tuesday, August 27, 2013

One Sunday went out on 46 mile bike ride with Elaine. She was training for an Italy vacation. It was a slow ride since my cycling legs are weak these days.

My grand niece Magdalena, on her way to her very first day of pre-school.

House sitting for a couple weeks for Cindy. She is off to Italy with Elaine on vacation for a week in the Dolomites, and later will be joined by Sandra and Monica for a week of hiking. Of course in Italy there is also a lot of sightseeing to be done.

I spend 3 to 4 hours per day reading. Here is one thing I found. It is amazing that in todays world there is still isolated tribes with practically no contact with the modern world. Peruvian law prevents them from contacting our so called civilization, good reason I think.

Cupcakes, Vickie’s work had a “Cupcakes War” bake contest to support Cakes4Kids. And her “Minions” won best presentation. And No, I didn't get to taste one. ... Such is life.

Later today, RV Bigfoot is going in for service in preparation for a trip next month. Am ready, need a 4 to 6 weeks adventure before winter.
