... Catch A Sunrise Sometime !!

On the left is RV’ing at an RV Resort. On the right is RV’ing at a Campground. As you expect, not the same thing. One usually has a pool (heated), jacuzzi, laundry room, workout gym, a dog run, a lounge (with TV), grass, paved or cemented RV pad, sometimes a golf putting green, cable or satellite TV connection, electricity, water and sump connection for the RV. The other, has dirt, may or may not have electricity, water, a community sump for black water (sewer dump) connections to the RV, depending on how primitive you want to get. That is it.
I have spoiled my self, because 99% of the time I don't RV camp. Yep, resorts are where I hang out. Understandable since I RV full time, though more expensive. And in Calif RV resorts have become a bit abusive, $58 to $77 per day. Most have weekly and monthly rates that are lower per day. But they can add up to $750 to $1400 per month. Yep, I avoid the more expensive ones, as most full time RV’ers do. California county parks usually run around $30 per day.
Here I am, in the high desert, in the shade, windy, 3 pm, it is 84 deg, yesterday was 10 deg warmer at this time, writing this blog. Below is the view from where am writing.
On an exercise (power) walk, came across the two predators above. Talking to the rangers they told me don't go walking about off the beaten path near desert bushes. The upper one’s are very active and well camouflaged, hard to see till you are too close.
It is relatively easy to catch a sunset, but for most people catching a sunrise is another matter. Since I only sleep about 4.5 hour, and bedtime is between 1 and 1:30 am, then being up before the sun is an everyday occurrence. So one morning, sat outside waiting for the sun. After a long awhile, I knew that sunrise had occurred, but the sun was behind the mountains in front of me, still was going to wait till it peaked out from behind the mountains. Waited, and waited, and then there it came.
A few seconds after the sun peaked out from behind the mountains, turned my gaze to the south, and there they were, balloonists. Guess I was not the only one up early catching the sunrise. I suspect from their vantage point, they really saw a sunrise. Off to a Starbucks, it seems at least in Calif. no matter where you are, there is a Starbucks nearby.
