No, not an iPhone. Elaine took me out on a 58 mi bike ride last sunday. Afterwards we soaked in the spa, and so did my iPhone. They don't like that at all. Am not do for an upgrade till next year. Decided not to put out $450 for an iPhone upgrade now, will wait till next year. In the mean time needed a smartphone, so I bought the cheapest setup I could find, so bought an AT&T Avail 2, Android Go phone, and activated to my account. I thought cool, but no matter how I try to like it, I don't. Yep have being spoiled by the great Apple GUI (Graphical User Interface). No wonder they sue Samsung for $$ billions. It took me 6 hours to setup my emails and contacts on this thing. It should not be so hard, specially for kind of geeky me.
I spent an hour creating a blog, .... and then something that almost never happens to me, happened, the Web App for creating the blog stopped responding. Yep, had to reboot and lost all the work. Periodically, at least once a month I do a cold reboot and backup. That means, turn computer completely off and restart. You see, all computers operating systems have software bugs / errors, and with time and many waking’s from sleep mode, this errors accumulate and eventually something bad happens to open apps. I realized it had been about 2 months since last reboot. Guess will have to put a reminder in my calendar to reboot and do a backup every month. Do you ? I recommend it. I am not going to reproduce the lost blog, so this is it. Go out and do something fun, I am, a beautiful day for a 4 or 5 mile walk/hike on the Baylands. Will try using this phone to take photos and see what I get.
