If The Thought Feels Right, ... Make It So.

Great Grand Niece Allison just had a birthday, and celebrate they did.

And they all went horse back riding, ... probably their first time.

Well, am back home after a 4 weeks of carousing in the desert. Came home, will pay my taxes, built up some savings and will take off again, will let you know when and to where. This trip was just a prelude to check how expensive it is going to be on the road. Have not looked at the numbers yet, but by my bank account it ain’t pretty. When I left in the last week of Feb, gas was at $3.40 /gal, on the road it got to $4.75 / gal, by summer it will be nastier. Hate it when that happens. ... An energy source for consumption should be abundant and cheap. Oil, though might still be abundant, is no longer cheap. We have to replace it !!

On the way home blew thru Los Angeles, just long enough to visit with sister-in-law Estela, above. And sis Elsbeth, Her son Martin and girl friend took us out dinner, cool, it is good to interact with nephews and nieces as adults. They can remind you of relatives from a generation they will never meet.

Sis Elsbeth and my niece, Cassandra, she shows her signature pose, she always tilts her head when being photo’ed. Of course there is no such verb, ... but am making it so.

Sis Shirley with my niece Jane, they are way east near Atlanta, Georgia.

I think my motorcycle riding days are coming to end this year. I dont seem to be as gutsy as I use to be. Even on the bicycle, remember days bonsai’ing at 55 mph down some mountain was an awesome hoot. No more, getting advanced in age is mean, the brain don’t like me to do that anymore, probably because reflexes ain’t what they use to be. So thinking of getting a set up like the one above. A “Smart Car” on a short trailer for towing behind Bigfoot. The thought feels right, ... I think will make it so.

First thing I did when I got back home, yep, went hiking with my girls, Sandra, Elaine, Monica, and Chris. Cindy was off to a Stanford women’s basketball game, and Vickie was out of town visiting her sis. And fun was had by all.

Oops almost forgot, bro John and wife Rose went on a cruise to Puerta Vallarta, and did a zip-line adventure. People, you got go out and do adventures, ... make it so.
