One day the Meat platter. The next day the Cheese platter, and wine of course. The things one has to do to have fun. Hanging out in Napa, visiting with long time fast walking and cycling friend Sandra.
Hopefully, this blog will give someone inspiration !! The title: “Live Your Life, … Dont’ Leave Your Life Unlived", … what does it mean ?
I was inspired to write this blog when a very young couple, at the Oxbow Cheese & Wine Merchant, in Napa on Valentine’s Day, they in mid to late twenties, after telling them that I have been retired now for 13 years, they asked me, what words of wisdom could I give. Young people asking for words of wisdom, very unuseful I thought ! I says, "Plan Your Life, Live Your Plan". You need short term and long term activities. For short term, you need at least once month go out and do stuff together, maybe take off Fri night or Sat morning, comeback Sun eve. Does not have to be fancy, but it should be stuff that might be fun. For long term think of stuff to do together that you can save $ to do once a year. And then also save $$ for retirement. It is getting more expensive every year till that day comes to you guys.
Litte Alice now 13, sent her mom, my walking and cycling friend, Vickie, a YouTube video from school. After viewing the video, I think now I would advice people to Live Your Life, … Don’t Leave Your Life Unlived. To keep this blog short, here is the YouTube video, watch, and be inspired, it is never too late to start. YouTube Video
Sandra and Robert, they moved to Napa about 5 yrs back. Sandra retired, and Napa a great place to visit with friends, lots of good hiking, walkabouts, and of course wines. They treated me dinner, … hmm, does not get better than that. Good thing is not far from home, about 1.5 hrs.
