Have you been kissed by a tick ?   Tick on, Tick off !!

Was out walking with friend Vickie, a normal adventure walk, we walk at least 2 times a week. We passed by a park entrance, with trails, so we went for it, as is our nature to find adventures in doing stuff.

by the time we got back to our cars, we had done 9.6 mi !!  Not unusual, we have done longer walking adventures !!

When I got home, motorhome, to clean up, I found the kiss of a tick on my arm, it's head definitely burried under the skin, not flicking off !!   After thnking what to do for about 15 minutes, decided not to to pull it off and taking the chance of leaving the head inside. So went to the emergency services of my health plan, coast me $20 !!  When the Dr was looking at it, I says, was going to pull it out myself, Dr responded, No, No, it has to be done properly, if the head stays inside it can lead to bad complications !! It took the Dr about 5 min to take it off / out, 4 min waiting for local anesthetic oitnment to take effect.

Yep, took the tick off / out intact, so I asked him to give me tihe tick, it was mine, after all it kissed me, the two people in the emergency room had a good laugh with that !!   Took a photo of it, yes it was dead !! Did it die becaused it kissed me or ….

3 weeks since that day, and I still have the red spot bump where it kissed me !! I think, will have to look it up, but they may inject a anesthetic so you dont feel their kiss, and some kind of blood thinning poison, that may make it easy for them suck on your blood !!   Below, after it was removed !!      Ok, all done with this blog !!
